RingBase is committed to meeting the highest regulatory standards across all the jurisdictions we serve.
As a provider serving Canadian businesses, RingBase operates in accordance with the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regulations. We comply with all applicable telecommunications rules including number portability requirements, emergency services obligations, and consumer protection standards.
Our platform adheres to CRTC guidelines for VoIP service providers, ensuring that our customers receive the same regulatory protections as traditional telephone users.
For our United States operations, RingBase complies with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations governing interconnected VoIP services. This includes adherence to STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication protocols to combat robocalling and spoofing.
We support E911 services and meet all FCC requirements for VoIP providers regarding emergency calling, CPNI protection, and accessibility.
RingBase complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada's federal privacy law. We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our services, obtain meaningful consent, and provide transparent access to how data is used.
For full details on our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
RingBase complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We only send commercial electronic messages with express or implied consent, include clear identification and unsubscribe mechanisms in all communications, and honour unsubscribe requests promptly.
Our platform also helps customers stay CASL-compliant by providing tools for consent management and communication logging.
RingBase is actively working toward SOC 2 Type II certification. This audit evaluates our controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. We have implemented the organizational and technical controls required by the Trust Services Criteria and expect to complete our audit in 2026.
